Familiarity breeds contempt!

An absolute 'Sky FARCE', that attempts to delude you into believing it is pedaling pious patriotism in the garb of a creative endeavor and celebrating the exploits of the Indian Air Force. When all it really is, a 160 Cr./~USD 18.5 million (publicly reported budget) investment to launch a political scion and wannabe star in Bollywood.

Author's Note

After 'Fighter' (‘Fighter’ and the epic mediocrity of Bollywood’s unfailingly crass projection of the Indian Air Force on-screen!) last year and others, I seem to have completely exhausted my thesaurus of 'disparaging' words and therefore the perforce brevity on this review. Besides, I believe my familiarity with this Bollywood playbook (on the portrayal of our armed forces), is now way beyond contempt. Of course, mainstream commercial Bollywood works on the (overplayed) premise of, 'suspension of disbelief for the purpose of entertainment', but that dramatic license needs to be exercised carefully when dealing with a subject, directly related to the Armed Forces of the country. And I propose, it ought to be made a criminal offence to project our armed forces on-screen, with such mediocrity!
